ABOUT
Using comprehensive treatment modalities The Sycamore Center provides individuals, groups and families diagnostic assessments, intensive in-home counseling, and case management services in a supportive, therapeutic environment designed to address their individual and family needs. The program is designed to treat youth experiencing a range of mental health symptoms, behavioral difficulties and addictive diseases including:
- Depressive Disorders
- ADHD
- Disruptive, Impulse-control, and Conduct Disorders
- Anxiety Disorders
- Self-harming behaviors
- Trauma and Stress Related Disorders
- Substance Related and Addictive Disorders
- Other Mental Health Disorders
TARGET CLIENT PROFILE
Generally these youth are between the ages of 5-17 and have been diagnosed with MH/DD/AD disorders. The focus of The Sycamore Center is to address youth and adolescent issues at home, in school and in the community. Through this program youth are trained to utilize skills to stabilize moods, understand and cope with emotions, feelings and explore positive life choices.
The treatment modalities utilized in this program include:
- Assessment (Mental Health/Substance Abuse/Trauma)
- Multi-disciplinary treatment planning
- Group therapy
- Skill-building groups
- Individual therapy
- Family therapy
Treatment cost are covered by Medicaid, Peach Care, Peach State, Amerigroup, and Private insurance with pre-authorization.
